Hardeman Sworn in for Fourth Consecutive Term

QUEEN’S PARK – Today at the Ontario Legislature Ernie Hardeman was sworn in as MPP for Oxford for the thirty-ninth parliament.

“I am honoured to once again represent the people of Oxford,” said Hardeman. “I will continue to work hard to ensure that Oxford’s views and concerns are heard in the Ontario Legislature.”

Ernie Hardeman was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in June 1995 and served as Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, as well as Minister of Municipal Affairs – Rural. On October 10th Hardeman was re-elected for a fourth consecutive term, making him the longest consecutively serving MPP in Oxford’s history.

“I want to thank the people of Oxford for showing their confidence in me and for their support over the last twelve years,” said Hardeman.
